I can't tell you how pleased I was to receive your email and the successful
location of Bartholomew Bolton's birth. I have searched at a fair expense
for many years looking for him in England. Ireland was my last hope and
you found him in a matter of days. Thank you so much for the very quick
response to my inquiry. I will now return to your website and order a new
search based on the info gained from the latter.> Best wishes Marilyn Bolton,

Just a quick thank-you for your services...the English GRO certificates

time. I'll certainly recommend your service to others and will be using
it again myself in the near future.
I haven't had to order anything for a while, so hadn't seen your new look

comments at the end.

My certificate arrived from England today -- the one for the Harriet Breakwell
marriage. What a marvellous document!!!! This is the certificate I was
aiming for last fall, although that one led me to several surprises. Anyway,
thank you so much for your help getting this certificate. It was worth
every single penny or pence or whatever.
Jan Mackie Salem OR 97303 USA
Thank you very much for this latest information. I now must take some time
to see if I can put the many pieces together. Please convey my thanks to

a pleasure doing business with you. Your service continues to do an excellent

You can obtain these certificates from GenFindIt online. They are reasonable
and highly efficient, secure and professional and quick and easy. I have
used them many time. Place GenFindIt into your search engine (I suggest
GOOGLE.com) and place your order following the instructions online. They
are the cheapest and most accurate on the net. Best of luck.

Many thanks for your prompt
service, I now have copies of both my Grand-fathers and my husband's Grand-father's
birth certificates, all within record time, thank you to you and your researchers.
I hope you can understand all this Julian, once again a big " THANK YOU"

Thankyou for the prompt response
to my transcript request. George Harper ALLAN was my paternal grandfather
& although I knew his date of death it was more for the cause that I wanted
the certificate. Unfortunately it confirms what I thought, and has certainly
proven that aortic anyeurisms are hereditary in my father's family. Sometimes
it's probably better not to know what the future could hold.

Many thanks for the above. Please
pass on my congratulations to your agent for the very prompt response to
my requests. Would you please also give her my apologies for the misleading
information that, through my own careless researching, I had provided to
her in one of these? Fortunately she was able to work through the problem
and kindly provided the correct details, even though I had obviously not
requested this. Her efforts are appreciated!!

on the marriage of andrew fraughan and ellen cullen, without the way the
name was spelled, i'm sure i would not have found them. the spelling of
their name changed to FREWEN after they arrived in Australia.

Thank you so much for finding
this information. My mother will be turning 60 on St. Patrick's Day and
I'll be giving her these photo copies for her birthday. She wanted them
so she could apply for dual citizenship. Just to be correct, you will be
sending photo copies of both the birth record and the baptismal record?
Thank you again, my mother will be so excited. I have more records to go
after, so I'll hopefully be contacting you again later this year. Have a
great day!
Patrick Ryan, Cincinnati OH 45209, USA
Wonderful to receive my missing
details re g.grandfather and learn the name of g.grandmother-of course the
same name as my mother! And your researcher is to be congratulated on pin
pointing the correct Joseph McCann as confirmed by the name of the informant
- his daughters married name. So congrats all round. Sorry this is late
as have been off line for a while.

Hi Julian, Thank you so much
for the prompt reply to my request and the ones prior to that. I can't believe
how fast it was. It has added more information to my family history and
then posed some more questions. I didn't realise that Sarah and George had
had 6 children up to 1855. So I'll have to follow that up. Thanks again.

Julian, what a wonderful feeling
to finally believe I am be on the right road to finding my GGGrandparents.
Your quick response to my order was just great. I am waiting for the death
cert to arrive. My GGrandfather was in the Hendley Pemberton Work House
in the 1851 census at age 3. We believe that Alice was his mother and she
died when he was born. I just found Alice's surname 2 weeks ago. It is so
great to think I have possibly found his mother. Now to try and find the
proof of Alice and Thomas marriage. I will continue my search and use your
service often. Thanks so much for your fast response.

three days! Its a great service and I WILL BE BACK!

breathe!!! You have no idea how long I have waited to find this death certificate!
Now here it is and it is all falling into place. My grandmother was the
younest of a long list of children as you can see and she always said she
had no recollection of her father. Well now I can see why, he died when
she was 3 years old. I am so happy that I found you and you & your team
found them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! p.s. I'll be in touch

It looks like I'm going to Ireland
in July for 3-4 days to participate in filming a 5-minute segment of a documentary
on searching for ancestors who emigrated to the US before 1895 (for an Ellis
Island Museum project.) They want to do the story of my finding my ancestor
Thomas Feeney's relatives and family home on Lettercallow earlier this year.
So I will get a chance to do a couple of hours of research while I am there.
They want to film me in the process of looking something up, perhaps in
the Galway county offices or a church register. The object of the film is
to show people how to locate and obtain records, so I will be sure credit
Genfindit for the work you have done for me since then.

Hi Julian. Yes please proceed
with both the 1901 and 1911 census searches. I will anxiously await the
results. You did such a good job finding my grandmothers birth info. and
my great great grandfathers death info. I am finally making some progress!
Thanks so much.

Thank you!!! Such a quick reply
and FULL of information. I see several "Thomas Connor" listing
in the Griffiths (my ancestor was Thomas, not John as you mentioned). It's
quite possible they were still living at that location when Griffiths was
compiled. And the info about the guardians and the merchant seamen is wonderful!
I feel like jumping for joy after reading your letter. I have been so stumped
on my gggrandfather's family in Ireland until now. Although I don't know
if any of this will give me answers, I'm so excited to have these leads!
Your site was recommended on one of the mailing lists I'm on (either Ireland,

Just to say thank you for confirming
that I am on the right track. I have spent hours on the LDS site have also
been to the LDS research centre which started me in the right direction

of more things I'd like to order but I must get my act to-gether before
I do. Can't believe how fast I got the info. Thanks again.

Hello Julian. I can't believe
how efficient your service is! After years of waiting for at least a month,
usually much longer, for the results of British enquiries via snail mail,
I've received 2 transcripts only six days after I lodged the enquiry, and
two of those days were on the weekend! What an amazing turnaround time.
Thank you! I recently recommended your service to a genealogical newsgroup
where I saw people complaining about the cost of ordering certificates from
Great Britain, so I hope you've noticed a recent upsurge in business!
Marie Donaldson. Marayong. NSW.
Julian, I can't thank you enough
for the assistance given, the alternative sources suggested and the information
you have obtained for me. The replies are so prompt, I'm surprised. This
is a boost for any family searcher as some searches seem interminable.

Julian, Congratulations on the
VERY PROMPT and AUTHORIATIVE service provided by Genfindit. I have been
using Genfindit for some months after years of watching and watching my
mailbox waiting for a report from my very efficient researcher in Edinburgh.
Very efficient but SOOO SLOW. I can also report on an incident that has
occurred this Sunday evening, around 8PM. Got a bit trigger happy and deleted
my last transmission from Genfindit before saving. NO PROBLEM, an email
to Julian and I had the report retransmitted within THE HOUR! Great service.

Hi Julian, Well done, well done,
well done. Just as well you can't see me, I'm doing a jig around the room,
oh I am so excited, you wouldn't believe it. Thank you so much Julian, I
truly thought this (Irish) lot would never be found, they proved me wrong.
I've got the biggest grin on my face. What do you suggest now Julian? What
path do we follow from here? Thank you so much, this is almost as good as
winning the lottery, well almost. You don't have a raving lunatic on the
other end Julian, just one very happy, excited lady. Thank you so much again.
Lee Cullinane, Perth, Western Australia
This is to thank you and your
staff very much for the two Scottish Transcripts which you sent me recently
I could not have been more delighted with your efforts. I requested these
transcripts from you back on the afternoon of the 17th December. Given that
you had to use snail mail for their delivery because I didn't have an e-mail
address I was really pleased to find your transcripts in my mail box on
the morning of the 29 December - the first mail delivery after the Christmas
I Boxing Day break. The timing was fantastic
With regards to the actual transcripts, the marriage certificate for my
maternal grandparents completed the set of documents I have on them at considerably
less cost than getting an official GRO certificate However, the real triumph
was you coming up with the death certificate for my paternal great great
grandmother from Largs, Ayrshire This lady was something of a mystery woman
to me having been born in the late seventeen hundreds and then married to
my great great grandfather in the early eighteen hundreds with both those
events recorded in Old Parish Registers which seem to have disappeared.
I had previously searched Scots Origin for her death and wasted my money
on one certificate which turned out to be for the wrong person. The Scots
Origin indexes were just not helpful in narrowing down the number of possibilities
This was because I was uncertain of the year of death, not 100 % confident
of the place of death, had absolutely no idea of her age at death and her
Christian name and married surname were relatively quite common in the Strathclyde
area at that time.
By allowing me to give you additional information over and above just a
name and a rough time period, your researchers were obviously able to find
the certificate for the right person straight off This was terrific as I
hadn't really expected all that much from you other than perhaps one more
wrong name crossed off the list of possibilities. Fortunately her son (my
great grandfather) was the informant on the certificate. The detail he provided
about her parents has already allowed me to match up an 101 christening
record for my great great grandmother under a phonetically equivalent surname
Getting this particular transcript has let me break through the log-jam
of missing birth and marriage records Hopefully I will now be able to get
another generation or so farther back with that part of the family tree
I also saved a packet of money not buying wrong death certificates.
I can really recommend your service on the Scottish vital records I just
hope your research service for wills and sasine records works as well for
when I am ready to chase after them All the best for 2000

You don't know me, but you have
been researching for my 42nd Cousin. I would like at this time to thank
you for doing this, and helping her to get the information . She has compiled
most of what she can and has sent it along to me in book form.
Once again THANK YOU, from (name withheld)
Hello Julian, It is hard to
believe my letter went to the "dead letter" office and in spite
of my ineptitude, the Scottish response, and yours, was a turn around within
24 hours. That's the Scots for you. That is why I am tracing my Scottish
origins - their vigour, their genorosity of spirit - all the characteristics
of my father and his mother - and it seems, Genfindit. Naturally, when you
go back a generation, especially in two families, you must speak to a fellow
traveller, family historian, and she was green with envy. Her source, ordered
a month ago, remains silent. (I should add - at a higher fee) I am sure
you will do her next lot of searches. Thank you Julian and Genfindit, I
will be confident to recommend you to researchers like myself.
Very Kind regards, Margaret Grant, Killarey Heights, Sydney, Australia
Hello Julian, A belated thank
you for the transcript received on 9 December. Was delighted with the fast,
efficient service. Information on the certificate enabled me to make contact
with a real live Scottish relative! Great excitement from both sides. (being
a 3rd generation Aussie, I must admit I thought my chances of finding a
relative were next to nil!)

Hello JULIAN; Thank you for
replying so promptly. The reunion was the result of 27 years of searching
for my family. NEEDLESS TO SAY, it was beyond expectation AND was the main
reason that I stayed away for such a long time.. Again, many thanks for
your patience and quick responses to my queries. BEST REGARDS, IRENE IN
PICKERING, ONTARIO, CANADA
The gratitude I feel towards
Genfindit is beyond words. My family have searched and searched for our
James Muir married to Mary Marshall until we are ragged. Their names and
marriage are stated on an 1855 marriage of their daughter. So the Genfindit
crew found it under the name of Moore of all things. I am only 6 months
into genealogy and I know of variants of names, but I was so stuck on the
spelling from the detailed 1855 marriage certificate I couldn't think of
anything else. I am amazed at Genfindit finding it under this variant -
They are absolutely amazing if given enough information to begin with. Every
time I have submitted I have been given a result when I have been complete
in my submitting information. If it weren't for Genfindit, I would have
been searching for this line stuck on this spot for years and years from
now if I hadn't given up on this most common name as well. I wish I could
return a favour to Genfindit other than money I am so grateful.

Julian,I have now received three
excellent pieces of information from you within the last couple of weeks
and I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that I am extremely
pleased with the service which you provide. I am very interested in tracing
the history of my family, but, a medical problem has prevented me from getting
out to research the information which I require. Through you, I now have
the means whereby I can obtain that missing information and I will certainly
be sending many more requests in the future.
Matt Linn, Gourock, Renfrew, Scotland
I just wanted to say thank you
for trying to help me find my missing ancestors. I am a little disapointed
that nothing was able to be found, but it does seem par for the course.
They do seem to be an elusive bunch, those Devines. Anyway, thank you again
for the help.Much appreciated,
Sherrlye Huprich, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663, U.S.A.
Thanks.. I'll look forward to
receiving it. You certainly have a unique service. I be back in touch to
obtain other Irish records.

Thank you so much for your very
prompt response to my request for my gggrandfather's death certificate transcription.
Can't wait to order my next transcript. I shall certainly be spreading the
word about your excellent service.
Regards Sandra Balfour Brasell, South Auckland 1892, New Zealand
Dear Julian, THANK YOU - THANK
YOU - THANK YOU. I have agonised long and hard over this marriage - since
my g-grandmother's details are recorded differently on every certificate
I seem to have. The transcript of their marriage certificate has helped
in many ways - and also now given me ANOTHER headache to solve! But thank
you for your prompt and wonderful service! Keep up the good work.

How on earth did you find this?
I spent a lot of time and dollars on the Scots Origins website and, although
I had the year of her birth, Jane's registration is not on there! Your success
is phenomonal! In fact, I searched the year before and the year after and
while there were many "Jane Gordon's" registered at birth for
those two years, there was only one for 1887 and the district for her, Jane
Ann Gordon, was Montrose so obviously this was not the correct "Jane".
I wonder if Scots Origins has missed inputting all the other Jane Gordon's
born that year?
Your service is amazing! I only requested this a couple of days ago and
here I already have the result. As well, your price is definitely better
than ordering direct from Scots Origins. I will definitely be using your
service again in the future. Keep up the Good Work!!

Hi Julian, Just want to thank
you for your fast response to my request for my mother's birth. I am the
last surviving of my family, losing my brother last February and am very
interested in my mother's backround. I know somewhat my fathers, who was
born in Ireland(Ballyshannon) but nothing of hers. Thank you for your help.

Thanks Julian for finding my
ggrandfathers civil birth record in Cork, Ireland in 1866 just two years
after civil registration became required. Now I know the civil parish and
townland. I posted a copy of your homepage on the bulletin board at my neighboring
LDS Family History Center. I hope someday you can cover England too.
George Haynes, Kirtland, Ohio USA
Dear Julian, I received the
order on Thur. 9-23-99. It was all I expected and more. With that marr.
recorded I confirmed several relationships and added six people to my family
tree. I can not tell you how pleased I am with this service. Thank you again,
Sincerely, Denis J.Mitchell, Bronx, NY 10465, U.S.A.
Many thanks for the Scottish

provided in them. Many thanks for your help, Julian. It is most appreciated!

You're a lot cheaper than the
xx Heritage Association in xx. They wanted £40! And I've never heard anything
back from them!
Len Duffy, Pensacola, FL, USA
Thank you for the information.
I'm amazed at the speed of your service.
Eileen Kelly, Ithaca NY 14850, USA
I was very surprised and especially
pleased to receive my Mother's birth certificate so quickly. I requested
it on June 25 and received the photocopy in regular airmail on July 17.
What a great service this is!
Thanks, Eileen Nolan, Romeoville IL 60446-1825, USA
Thanks Julian this explains
some of my difficulties tracing this man. Cheers and thanks
thanks for your help in this matter.
Have been truly baffled with this one as all relatives who would know
anything are no longer with us.
Regards, Lorraine Clift, Wellington, NZ
What a SURPRISE! This is a fantastically
presented site. Obviously this is close to your heart! I am amazed at how
much information you have made available & how much there is to know
about one's history. Its simply excellent. No wonder there have been 12,000
+ visitors.
Cheers. Kevin Marcus, Turramurra, NSW Australia
Thank you for the two Scottish
transcripts I recently received, one more should hopefully establish the
link I've always been told about with the family of the explorer David Livingstone.
I wish I had discovered your site earlier, the service you provide is really
excellent and much cheaper than applying direct to the GRO in Edinburgh
or via Scots Origin. I now have two transcripts for virtually the price
of one!! I will certainly recommend it to anyone else who is researching
their Scottish ancestry and will definitely be using it again myself in
the near future to further my research into my branch of the Livingstone
family.
Susan Eldridge, Lancashire , England
Thank you for your assistance.
I have researched everywhere for information about my greatgrandfather Carlton.
I was doubtfull your service would be reliable, but I was at the end of
any other options. Everyday after I sent my request I checked my e-mail
and everyday I became more convinced I had been dupped, but today I found
your response. I have entered this new information and now I want to know
what else you can find out. I wish the information provided was more complete
with birthdates and places, but this is a step I have been trying to make
for over a year. Thank-you.
